Worktops are one of the most visible parts of a finished kitchen and depend on accurate cabinets, levels, joints and cut-outs. The installation method varies substantially by material.
Worktop fitting
Laminate, timber, solid-surface and stone products have different measuring, fabrication and installation requirements. Sinks, taps, hobs, upstands and splashbacks must also be considered before final fitting.
Templating and sequencing
Some worktops can be fitted on site while others require specialist templating and fabrication after the base units are securely installed. Confirm the process for the chosen material before scheduling subsequent trades.
